Regarding the combat engine where could they have gone from DMC4?

Besides adding new styles and moves.
We already had it on the fly; where could the engine have gone?

Integrated using the camera movement to influence new attacks. I had a few concepts that i believe could be used for a possible DMC5.

Camera movement to influence attacks?
Expand on this if you don't mind :p

I focused mostly on Lucifer or even Vergil's spiral swords since they're so similar. But while playing and executing specific moves you could move the right stick or rotate it to influence the damage, direction and other things such as directing a swarm of swords to spiral towards than enemy in a cyclone like motion or swiftly moving the right stick towards the enemy when using gilgamesh. Its all just a thought of ccourse

It's not a bad idea, but unless there was a fixed camera don't you think that would confuse the battle field?

See i thought of that but also i thought that during the frames of the specific moves moving the right stick wont influence the camera but the move itself. And if one needed to cancel the attack to dodge an enemy they can simply cancel into a dodge, jump, air trick etc.

I suppose maybe Dante will move a certain way to signify he is performing the move or there would be a light etc. I'm integrating fighting game mechanics into this one.
