FuocoNero posted... Quote:I'd give you a huge list of reasons, but I'm too busy eating this strawberry sundae. In other words, you are lazy to look through the forum topics. The 'hate' has been addressed about a thousand times now. --- It's not the end of the world, but you can see it from here!
http://pastebin.com/qjpWCTFR --- Gamers have lost their pride. Complacency can be a sin.
In layman's terms: - Completely unintuitive controls. I don't care if you can get used to them, The inputs to do much of ANYTHING in this game can get ridiculous and is completely against most H&S in general. A Launcher button? What is this, MvC3? Holding LT and RT to either use the other weapons OR to use the whip to pull and grapple is ridiculous in and of itself... just argh. - Easy as hell enemies, seriously, I've seen enemies put up a better battle in Very Easy in Bayonetta... - Roll and Jump Cancelling? Not happening. - No Lock On function...this isn't Dynasty Warriors or any of it's spinoffs, and forcing a crappy version of a forced Lockon which force targets enemies for you is even more stupid than it should be. - Random Frame Drops....when there honestly SHOULDN'T be. - Environmental Shifts works...too scripted. You never really feel in danger of dying by the environment trying to kill you, you can easily walk and walk and won't die at all... --- When you're Minato it means putting them both doggy style, putting seals on their asses and teleport-popping them like a beast. -NaughtyGhost
xhominid posted... In layman's terms: you can add TWO dodge buttons, no taunting. --- -choose death-
Ether101 posted... http://pastebin.com/qjpWCTFR you keep posting that like it actually means anything. I debunked it, so stop posting it like it means anything at this point, not to mention some of it is factually outdated, so if you're going to post complaints, don't lie. --- Interested in a RP about a post apocalyptic future Earth with some Mutant shenanigans? From: Zetta-Honey-Boy | #015 xhominid posted...In layman's terms: I always keep forgetting that...Lock On seems like a far worse sin for this type of game despite how workable taunts are in games like these. --- When you're Minato it means putting them both doggy style, putting seals on their asses and teleport-popping them like a beast. -NaughtyGhost
Zetta-Honey-Boy posted... completely ignoring the fact that this is supposed to be a devil may cry game, this fails on many levels as just a competent action game. Stinger's input isn't really a con. It's not a plus but it doesn't hurt much; Bayo let you do it, and you do it the same in MGR. It was in all the trailers I don't know how you missed it :p I don't have trouble pulling it off. There are two dodge buttons to compliment whichever shoulder button you have held down. If you're holding down L2 with your index finger you can't really dodge without releasing it; so this way you can press R1 and keep holding it down. Considering the manner and speed in which you switch forms (Not just for the weapons but for dodges, pulling, dashes, etc) it works better than having to toggle back and forth. I addressed this in another topic; with the current set up toggling wouldn't be practical. I kinda see what they meant by that narrative crap. Lets look at the Poison fight. If you shoot at her a lot she'll say something along the lines of quit shooting those pea shooters at me. If you neglect to attack she'll ask what's wrong and inquire if you've forgotten how to use your sword. If you switch platforms when not quite necessary Dante will tauntingly say "I'm over here sweetie". I figure all the boss encounters are like that. The jumping seems fine to me. The guns still have use for juggling, charge shots, extending combos, cancelling etc. Using the Devil Bringer just activated an attack animation when you grabbed them; in DmC it either brings them to you or you to them; it has two functions and they are dictated by the triggers that dictate the "form" you're in. Of course the input is slightly different. Also this www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XHfupmx1I4 --- In my restless dreams I see that town...

The paragraph where I explained how enemies (Bosses seemingly at least) respond to what your doing during the battle was in regards to the lack of taunt. --- In my restless dreams I see that town... |
