You would barely if at all see a difference between 30 and 60. Hell most games run at 30.

Pro tip : Thats not how I would do it

Yeah I mean the slow gameplay isn't noticeable at all....

I can see the difference pretty easily. Every other game in the series runs a lot smoother than this and they're all a lot more responsive, even 2.

Hell, Sonic Generations is a good example of this.

Everyone notices the difference between 30 fps and 60 fps easily. Understanding it is something else altogether.

Generations would've been amazing at 60fps. It's still the only properly good console Sonic game since Adventure 2. I'd put Unleashed into that category if it wasn't for the damn night levels.

*Note: I haven't played the Wii version of Colours yet, so I'm holding my judgement on it.

Most action games run at 60 fps it had become the standard up till hacks started getting involved with the action genre and could only use engines that where stuck at 30 fps.

Please, don't generalize other people's perception abilities. Everyone is wired differently, it's beyond black and white for some people.

I wonder what 120 fps would look like...
