Gaming is evolving to where anyone can play, but mostly it's young adults playing. 20 years from now, people might not be aware of some games, but the classics never die. To this day people still compare new games in a series to the oldest ones.

Sorry but, devil may cry is not a classic, it's a cheesy badly written series whose only saving grace was gameplay, which even then got too big for it's britches. It started out as a wannabe resident evil and ended with campy anime homo-erotic garbage.

If starting its entire sub genre, having one of the best battle systems in the entire industry, having a massive influence on any hack and slash that came after it, including God of War and creating one of the most iconic characters of last gen doesn't allow to join the ranks of the classics, then I don't know what is.

And you know what, your whole relevancy argument is BS. If I did a survey in 2003, how many people would have heard of ICO? Very few. Yet you didn't see Sony trying to retool Shadow of the Colossus or The Last Guardian into something relevant.

This desperation of trying to appeal relevant is a bane on gaming. One of my problems with NT's writing is that they are so focused on what they think kids will find cool to the extent that it limits the potential of their writing. Studios attempting to appear relevant by chasing CoD figures have destroyed Final Fantasy, Silent Hill and Resident Evil.

A good game is a good game regardless of whether or not it appeals to young people

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight actually a good movie imo, but Dark knight Rises is very disappointing and I know many people that actually not liking it as much as the other Batman Movies, still I think its better than old batman movie though.

Honestly Batman Arkham series is do Batman franchise more justice, because the game actually feel like a Batman game, while Nolan movies is just an action movie with Batman character and the villain, also I think Christopher Nolan is a bit overrated as director. there are better Director out there such as Ben Affleck, Darren Aronofsky, Bennet Miller, Tom Hooper, David Fincher and Clint Eastwood.

Sonic's downfall was, guess what? Sega trying to put him into 3d to keep him relevant in the 3d age, despite being a franchise relying on being in 2d.

And you know what. The gaming community themselves decided that Sonic was no longer relevant via bad sales and bad reviews. DMC4? Highest Hack and Slash sales outside God of War and strong reviews to back it up.

I've done no damage against both on VH. I don't feel like getting proper recording equipment, mainly because I don't validation from others on how awesome I am
