combo help

alright so im trying to perfect a combo

trillion stab-cancel into->hightime->drop->drive

but everytime i get to drop i hold down attack (for drive) before drive is done (because the enemy will hit the ground if i wait and im trying to hit them with drive while they are mid-air) but dante starts up judgement instead.

i would have provided a video but i do not have a capture card

shoot them so they stay in the air longer?
