It was a week before I went back to that book to finish it after reading that part...

My friend told me he threw his Kindle across the room, lol! Unfortunately for me, freaking deviantart ruined it for me so it kind of took the edge off. I was just looking up character names so i could puit a face to them!!! T_T

I read the book when it came out.
Same response from me. With an added insult towards GRRM.

Dante, cause he's not a villain.

Do I have any weapons? Are we both fighting barehanded? If barehanded, it really doesn't matter who it is. Either one would give a very messy death...

I don't see how this matters, as mortals our weapons aren't great against the sons of Sparda. Lady is probably has more skills than anyone in this thread and she can't pose a meaningful threat to Dante. And Devil Arms can be dangerous to their user(i.e. Alastor). Even if they gave you the Sparda sword or something we wouldn't be able to effectively wield it against them.

Unless we are talking about Donte, then for all I know a mortal with a nine could cap him.

How come no one has mentioned how stupid they think this topic is? >_>

Sworder, you are right and my instant thought was "Dude, they can do whatever they please, they have equal power, so just pick one and die horribly, this topic is dumb". Yup that's pretty much what I wanted to say.

It's not like Dante has to kill real threats while he lets you punch him(sarcasm). He would knock you out first. You keep it up... you die.

I answered the question based on the guidelines (aka: fight to the death meaning either one of us has to die). Others didn't follow the guidelines. It's as simple as that.

Yes I think we`ve got a problem. So much for the afterglow.

His morals don't "allow" him to.

Just like my morals don't "allow" me to steal or throw red weddings.

I think that was the most forced, out of place reference I've ever seen.

If we're fighting to the death wouldn't for me to be in a death battle with Dante I'd have had to do something bad enough to make him drop his moral code and actually kill a human? (I dunno get lucky and kill Lady?)

He's not the Batman I'm pretty sure under the wrong circumstanced he'd kill a human.
If I'm the only one fighting to the death then that just makes it a Roman execution and I'd rather die an honorable death cut to ribbons by Vergil than kill some loser who won't fight me back cause of his morals (still doubt this give the kill or be killed situation).

If Dante actually fights back then I pick him since I'd imagine Vergil'll just cut you whereever to get it over with quick hell me might let you bleed out just to pay for being a dumbass and challenging him but Dante would maybe atleast play around with you and let you think you have a chance and then maybe give you a easy death.

Just realized in all my scenerios I lose :(
