In protest, buy a bunch of copies of Devil May Cry 1.

Sonic fans, in protest of Sonic 4 bought a bunch of copies of Sonic 1. You're still giving the company money so... yeah.

Best thing the fanbase can do is preorder DmC in mass then cancel their preorder day before release and preorder Rising instead.
