People who say it's impossible to tell the difference between 30. and 60 fps.

Taizuku just has incredibly low standards.

Enjoying a game is having low standards.

Enjoying bad games is having low standards. You can enjoy a bad game but don't pretend it isn't bad or you don't have low standards. Enjoying junk food is perfectly normal but your enjoyment doesn't change the fact that what you're putting into your mouth is in fact garbage.

Being 30 fps doesn't make it a bad game, and you not liking it doesn't make it a bad game either.

Your analogy makes sense, but the quality of a game is subjective, nutritious value of food isn't.

Tai, you know 30 fps is just one reason why this game is demonstrably inferior to DMC3 and 4. The fact is, this game performs worse and has less than older games. In the context of the series this is a downgrade like 2 was to 1. It is inferior and therefore bad by the standards of this series. Your enjoyment of this game is independent on quality. Hell enjoyment in general is independent on quality.

I actually like Polygon Man in PS; All Stars but my liking him doesn't make him and his boss battle not suck. For some reason I like him. I liked Two and a Half men for pre-Ashton Kutcher but I can agree that show is pretty damn awful. I like DB and especially the Buu Saga which is by far the most inferior part of the canon DBverse. Admit that you like a bad game, there's nothing wrong with that.

This. Forza Horizon runs at 30 FPS compared to Forza 4. Doesn't make it a worse game, just means that the animations are a bit slower. You can't see a difference between 30 and 60 FPS when you're playing the game. 15 FPS you can see choppiness in, but 30 and 60 look fine and smooth.

Forza has cars instead of swords and guns. Doesn't make it a DMC, just means that you guys are not thinking.

Horizon has cars moving 250 mph while the traffic goes 60 in the opposite direction while you weave in and out of it. How fast is your sword moving?

I get what you're saying, but you're devaluing the subjectivity of the game as a whole.

Slaveblade's slight comparison to the sonic games is sort of valid actually... those games (especially the newer ones) require split second reactions considering how fast you're moving.

By the way guys, if you would've read my thread title you would see that I was only criticizing those who said you couldn't see the difference. Whether you like 30 or 60 fps is none of my concern. These game do require 60 fps though.

As a very well-versed player of the Adventure games, no it doesn't.

The newer games run at 30 and Unleashed was considered a very bad game all around - mostly because you couldn't react fast enough to the obstacles (wonder why). Generations was considered better, but the game is very easy, taking out much of the split-second harmful hazards.

Generations is a pain at times thanks to the frame rate, especially on Crisis City.
