I honestly prefer the look of slightly blurred 30fps. Still, it hs no place in a highly technical action game, or what is supposed to be one, as it interferes with gameplay. Stick your 30fps to cinematics.

That just makes the game odd. Weird transitions.

I find it hilarious there are people who actually say "I don't care"

I'm sure you don't mind eating crap either, but don't get all uppity when I point out that you are, indeed, eating crap.

There's a reason the best game developers strive so hard to get 60FPS, and not just because it looks better, it actually makes tighter and more responsive games since there are more frames for player inputs.

When you say "I don't care", you're basically saying "I really hate it when games are good"

"they don't value what I value? Better make fun of them!"

I can tell the difference, but it's not different enough for me to give a ****.

You'd give a **** if you tried this on 60fps and go back to 30fps. I got this with PC versions vs Console versions. Trust me once you go 60fps you never go back.

Nope.

It's interesting that the Pros are right for once.

Dreamcast

Sonic Adventure 1: roughly 30FPS with slowdown IIRC
Sonic Adventure 2: 60 FPS with very few cases of slowdown, if at all, from memory.

Sonic Adventure 1 was clearly the superior game, folks... So there goes your higher FPS = forever better argument.

No. The fact that you linked a Sonic game to a Hack & Slash (DMC) regarding framerates is one of the stupidest things you brought up. It's a ****ing Sonic game. What does it have to do with a game like DMC?

You folk ***** about framerate all day.

I bring up an example where framerate did not make a ****ing difference in the QUALITY of the actual game.

You ignore it.

****ing typical of you guys at this point, really...

Not only that, but both of those Sonic games are very bad and SA2 actually has a higher critical rating on all accounts.

He's literally wrong in comparing them in every possible way.

CoD vs Halo would be better. I think Halo is a better game than CoD. But even then, those games aren't very reliant on technical skill. So in the end, it would be better to compare fighting games - one with 60 fps vs one with 30 fps. I can't even think of one made at 30 fps, except this last JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and that was quoted by the creator as not being competitive.
