Is Vergil still motivated in this game?

Do you think his legendary line will return? How bad do you think the delivery will be this time around?

Vergil seems rather motivated in this game, but his true intentions are A MYSTERY!!!
Lol, but on the real though, he seems sketch, especially considering the fact that he betrays Dante at some point near the end.
Considering the fact that he's keeping his identity a secret and has no problem using Dante as an ends to a means, he seems like he has something going on behind the scenes.

I imagine he wants control of Limbo or something.

Mundas probably controls it with the help of a certain item, or maybe just his own power. Vergil wants it for himself or something.

I honestly think he may want to control Limbo to become the new demon king or rather.
Since he's a Nephilim, who could really stop him if he became king other than Dante?
