I was already a "pro" member (Ironic) so it was a matter of indifference :p
Also don't you get a certain % off that would circumvent some of what you might "overpay".
I also somehow doubt Capcom is in charge of this policy; they wouldn't see a dime.
If true; blame Gamestop. As far as Capcom and NT intended; it was free with preorder.
(And as I was already a member for me; you're god damned right it was.)
