Bayonetta was 30 fps too. On PS3 it dropped like crazy, especially on harder modes with more enemies. I would buy the game full price again if it would run like the Xbox360 version. Remember Bayonetta the tower of truth for maxium slowdown.
BTW how does this:"runs with 30fps looks like 60fps!" work?

I've seen PS3's Bayonetta. It's far slower than 30 FPS. --- My Resident Evil 6 Review| My XCOM: Enemy Unknown Review http://bitly.com/Z2CT6n | http://bit.ly/RJGjrn

I remember that. Some sites actually gave the 360 and PS3 versions of Bayonetta separate review scores based on the low framerate and constant load time on PS3. --- Sheldon: "Woman, you are playing with forces beyond your ken." Penny: "Yeah, well your Ken can kiss my Barbie."

it is my 2nd favourite PS3 game and they made such bad port. Ports this bad were very rare this generation! Yeah it isn't even 30 fps most of the time. I had less problem with the slow framerate than with the slow motion when many enemies were on the screen.

After installing the game it is clearly above 30fps

They released install patched that remove most of these problems. I replayed it not long ago and it worked very well.

Platinum originally planned it to be a 360 exclusive but Sega would have none of that ported it to the PS3 themselves. This is why newer Platinum games have the PS3 as the lead platform. --- My Resident Evil 6 Review| My XCOM: Enemy Unknown Review http://bitly.com/Z2CT6n | http://bit.ly/RJGjrn

Saddly the patch only improved the loading times.

It was 60 fps when you were standing still, otherwise the frame rate was all over the place. Hell, at times it can drop as low as 30:
