Here are some other hack and slash games that people may have missed . As we prepare for this amazing year for the hack and slash genre, could we devise a list of games other enthusiasts may have missed?

I took the liberty of adding 4 games I don't think many have played.

1) Bujingai Swordmaster/ Bujingai:The Forsaken City(PS2)

I doubt people missed Lament of Innocence. It's part of a well-known series.

What's wrong with Rygar for the PS2 ?....Sure it had a terrible story but the overall gameplay was fun.

I played C:LoI (Didn't beat it.)
To my recollection it was okay :p

Shinobi chewed me up and spit my ass out like grass.
I got to the butterfly stage in the volcano (Least that's how I remember it.)
I don't remember why I stopped at that point, but all I know is getting there was tough as nails.

The Wii Version is in fact the worst version of the game.

I still need to play Rygar PS2. I bought it for 2 bucks a few months ago. Curious to see how it is.

Shinobi was way to repetitive and bland for me. I wish they would have developed on the general idea of the game more. It had potential.

Castlevania: Lament of Innocence was rather good although it's a shame it's bogged down by brain dead level design. Same goes for Curse of Darkness.

The Onechanbara games are okay for a bottom level action game and the co-op is a nice diversion,

Wolverine Origins HD was okay for what it was. Which is being Wolverine and tearing the crap out of people.

Speaking of that...X2 Wolverine's Revenge was pretty good
