Serious Topic* Would you recommend the DMC anime to a nonfan?

In other words, is it a god anime on its own or do you think you have to have played the games to appreciate it?

It's sad that the best thing to come out of Capcom recently is a fan made game

No. Even as a fan I tried to watch it again recently, and couldn't. It really didn't age well. It's more cartoon than anime really.

I like some anime and all the DMC games except for DMC 2 and I hated the DMC anime.

It's not a God anime. It's alright. I enjoyed it as a fan (after every fan on message boards when I created topics asking if I should watch me told me my eyes would burn) and would probably watch it again. It's a different take on Dante's life, he's still cool, just these action scenes are like .000099999 seconds long as opposed to the fights in the video games.

And yes, I'd recommend it to people, as long as it's an english sub of it. The Dubbed version drives me nuts.
