I'd actually like to read the manga though; I hear they're decent.
i also frequent the wiki so I know a lot of manga details even though I haven't actually read it.
Awwww, that's disappointing.
I was the same way until I decided I just needed to read it, so I found it online and it's pretty darn good. It's what the show should've been like. It captures the games remarkably well, but makes everything practical in a narrative setting.
But I'll still agree with the Red comment though. Ash is just god awful.
