Last time I checked, the women who are commonly seen with guys like DmC Dante are the ones who are most likely to get hauled to the police station or be found dead in an alley.

The ladies will come swarming. "Oh, Mentally disturbed guy we must save!"

...and they'll be found dead in an alley the very next day.

If, indeed, there are many such ladies, I shudder for the future of humanity.

Actually, I think DMC 4 Dante was the most handsome looking. He had a great sense of humor and he always made me laugh. Some have said that DMC 4 Dante is mean and self-centered because he cracked jokes all the time and didn't seem to take anything seriously. But there were a few scenes in DMC 4 when Dante was serious.

In the scene where Credo died and he asked Dante to look after Kyrie and Nero, Dante caught him and said a low, serious voice, "I'll do it." As in, he'll save Kyrie and Nero.

In another scene, Dante told Nero that Yamato belonged to his brother and that Vergil's sword must stay in his family. Once Nero calmed down, Dante let him use Yamato to save Kyrie. In the end, Dante let Nero keep Yamato, saying that, "the most precious gifts are the ones worth giving."

Trish asked Dante if he needed help defeating Sanctus. Dante told her that he'd better handle it himself. Trish is clearly capable of taking care of herself, but Dante still didn't want her in harms way.

So, DMC 4 Dante did have a heart. Dante's constant taunts were always to rile up the enemy and get them to fly into a rage, making their fighting get sloppy........most of the time, anyway.



I'm not going to say that the new DmC Dante is cold and mean. And yes, I know, he had a bad childhood, grew up in an orphanage, treated like garbage by demons all his life, ect. But the DMC 1 Dante, DMC 2 Dante, DMC 3 Dante, DMC 4 Dante and anime Dante appealed to me much, much more than this DmC Dante.
