After GI horrible Sonic Generations review, they were firmly cemented as biased idiots.

This really doesn't help.

Well I didn't really like Sonic Generations, hell I didn't like Sonic Colors either.
This is mostly due to the fact that I've hated the modern 3D Sonic game's gameplay style since World Adventure.

Though on that note I did enjoy the classic Sonic stages.

[EDIT]
Ok now that I've actually looked at the review I see what you mean... seems pretty biased and I dunno a 6.75 on a modern review score system seems way too low for it even coming from someone who didn't like it like me.

A single example doesn't invalidate my argument, I'm glad you had fun with it but doesn't change the fact that many people encountered several gamebrakers.

Yea entertainment is subjective, but how a game plays is what determines if it is a good game, glitches tie directly into that. Say your playing and this happens (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZ7QR4t9K14), it will definitely hamper your experience.

Story is important but gameplay more so, that's why it is a game

I played the demo a good 5 times through. Didn't encounter a single glitch, actually, in all of my runs with it.

I wasn't attempting to "invalidate" the argument, but sharing my experience with it by comparison. Hell, I didn't know this demo was considered that glitchy until I came on this forum the days following the demo's release. Basically, not everyone is going to have the same experience regarding glitches with certain things is my point since glitches can pop up anytime. It varies (as you can tell), and I'd actually advise trying the demo first to see the experience + who's to say the demo glitches will be present in the final build? Definitely possible that they fixed a few things since then, but it's also possible they left the glitches un-checked as well.

I don't think the reviews are paid off, look at Resident Evil 6 it got lots of low scores. If Capcom were really paying reviewers that wouldn't have happened. I mean RE is a bigger game than DMC they should have done something to those low scores "if" they are really doing this kind of practice.

Really bro? One game review out of the hundreds they've done and they're in the red just like that?

Sounds like someone else is a biased idiot.

Cemented. They were pushing the boundaries before.

The fact that they didn't offer a single complaint, yet still the game a "poor" score is misleading.

GI has great articles, but poor reviews.

I never encountered any gamebreakers, and I've played through the demo I don't know how many times. But I didn't actively go out looking for them or scour Youtube for glitch vids.

So there's another single example.

@WingedRegent...
My bad I guess, this board kinda gives you an itchy trigger finger if you've been here long enough.

But the glitches are there and numerous had the invincible boss happen to me on three seperate occasions, and I've fallen through the level a few it wasn't so much me hunting for them as much as lets see if this is a common occurrence.

I guess he's trying to say that because the previous game had bugs it's ok for this one to be buggy too? Which is complete bulls*** by the way.

I have had no major issues running the demo, there are a lot of people who haven't had any glitches with it. They are random by nature and can occur in any game while demos by nature are likely to be fairly buggy, considering they are old builds of incomplete games.
