I miss the days of manuals being at least twenty pages or so. Sure, some people ignore them, but I like to take some time to read through them. Hell, sometimes you get a manual where the company likes to offer tips or funny bits.


Those were the good ol' days.

But I did and let me tell you: manuals are completely superfluous what with the advent of in-game tutorials and codex-esque things.

Plus all them trees getting slashed. That's just fab for the environment.

Like...5 years ago?

A lot has changed in five years. Anyway, since I first got a PS3, a lot of the manuals for the games I've bought have been lacking. The only ones I can think of that were wastes of time an paper were for the Fallout and TES games.

I sure did. Didn't care about a game manual then, and I certainly don't now. Very rarely has a game manual actually been helpful to me.
