putting gameplay aside, DmC or bayonetta?

Bayonetta's soundtrack is awesome, therefore, she automatically wins.

The music was ok but the main tune is very aggravating for me.

in the environment design they are pretty even but on everything it has to be Bayonetta

what's the main tune? I honestly don't even remember.

the only songs i really liked were most of the bosses's and a few stage themes. Still, better than this game.

You don't have much opportunity to pay attention to music with all that chaos.

The one thats in pretty much every trailer shes in. Like in the recent trailer that announced her as a guest character in anarchy reigns.

I prefer over the top crazy sequences over Dante's moaning when Mundus grabs his breast.

LOL! I literally just watched this happen.

If Platinum was HAND drawn, she'd be on paper, fool. This is a video game. They just made her on screen, no "drawing" involved -Delano7 on BlazBlue

BackGround music in game - DmC
enemy design & boss design (both gameplay & aesthetic) - Bayonetta
environment - DmC
character design & character development - DmC
background story - DmC
cutscene - DmC

Though it won more marks, I can't see this game surpassing Bayonetta overall because i love the combat in that game so **** much.

DmC is great though. Hoorah for another great action release.

Excluding gameplay is like picking the better album by 2 different artist excluding how the music sounds.

This is a joke, right? Gameplay is the most important part of any game.

Bayonetta is guilty of overhype. The interwebs just white knight it because they are butthurt about this.

Bayonetta had fluid gameplay and a good style, but the balance was iffy and most of my deaths were due to QTEs out of left-field and bosses throwing attacks in cutscenes I had to dodge in 0.00001 seconds after the scene ended. Not cool.

DmC is better balanced imho. Sure its "easy" but so is bayonetta, excluding the artificial difficulty mentioned.

DmC is guilty of overhype too. So many 9/10.
