DmC: Devil May Cry

The witch with 2 Dreamrunners.

I refuse to use camera bugs to make it easier.

Hard to find moments when I am not dodging to attack.

When I try to parry the witch the dreamrunners get me.

When I try to focus on the runners the witches swords get me.

I can eventually win but I am trying to find a good strategy for this fight to eventually SSS the level but the only strategy I can come up with is go after the witch first and hope you get lucky.

Yeah, the Witch is probably the most annoying enemy in the game.

None of the enemy is a threat by themselves, not even slightly, but when they team up with a Witch... they can alter the battle ground on DMD Mode, still nothing impossible, just plain annoying.

Even with the Camera strategy, sometimes the enemies DO walk into your view range, I have tried, and they just wonder into your view. So, best bet is separate them completely, and hopefully you can get them stay on one side and other on the other side, but even that, Dreamrunner's teleport attack tend to mess up the camera strategy....

Blah, what a pain, it's not hard, just annoyed, I feel ya buddy.

As for approach, I tend to ALWAYS take care of the Witch first, rest of the fight, as long as you don't get greedy, dodge properly, it's a sure win.

demon dodge and round trip

I have stayed away from Demon Dodge most of the game because it is OP but may have to try and use it more here.

I need to get better at punishing the runners after I dodge their teleport.

I normally parry them but dont have time with the other enemies messing with me.

If you want to cheese the battle, DT and kill the witch while it lasts.

You mean enemies off screen not attacking? That's not a bug. Plenty of action games do it and it makes games a lot fairer. Especially ones without clear audio cues.

So far I have the most success with evading the dreamrunners and using Round Trip on the witch when she does the ground spikes and Prop parry the swords when she shoots them at me.

Keep doing this until you kill the witch.

When just the runners are left grab the 2 green orbs pods and try and seperate the runners and parry their teleport attacks.

How much damage I take from the runners while taking out the witch varries but once she is gone the battle is somewhat easy if I have at least half health.

It just goes to show how hard the haters are trying to nitpick, they can't even tell the difference between game design and a glitch.

What? Antis DO NOT USE it as the argument, because it was exactly the same in DMC3. Unless enemy is on screen, it's aggression is almost nonexistant.

TC is this level 16 in the hall? If so, I agree, hardest part of the entire game imo.
