DmC tops charts in Japan too but AGAIN fails to top DMC4

And DMC4's lifetime sales in Japan couldn't even top DMC1's launch week sales in Japan. How awful.

Bad logic. This is a reboot and a new studio, which should bring back interest. Not to mention it's supposed to attract new players and the user base is much bigger.

Even worse logic, reboots rarely get people excited or wanting more of the game. Reboots bring a rather large amount of critics and negativity.

Not if people disliked DMC4 >.>

I wonder how well DmC would do if it was to come out in February or March when it actually has some competition.

This is what people are apparently choosing to ignore.

People are choosing to ignore another important factor. What about more than at least 80 million increase in install base of PS3s and XBOX360s since 2008? DmC had a MUCH MUCH larger install base to exploit but still managed sell less. CRAPCOM must be pulling their hair out and Ninja Theory must thinking who to blame next for their failures.

Also consider the state of the economy now compared to when DMC 4 was released and how console game sales overall have been slumping lately.

What about the much larger install base? At least 80 million more consoles in the market today than 2008.

You don't need excuses for being number 1 on the charts.

That means you have the best selling game for that week.

Who cares if the numbers are not as good old games, that means nothing.

It is a fact console game sales are not what they used to be. If you feel you need to disregard that in order for your hate to continue feel free.

Against nothing, lower numbers mean it will probably not reach the target and fail and console sales trully aren't the same as in the past, they're much better.

Just sayin'

Also with Gamefly now a lot more people simply rent games and more people buy used games then back in 2004.
