those are pretty high demands in a game. Both hig difficulty, Smart AI and complex combat controls

Uh...no it's not?... Especially from the 5th entry in a AAA blockbuster series that already provided those things.

If they can't make the game on the same level or better than the past installments then why bother?

DMC 4 had smart AI. Enemies actually fought you instead of waiting a few seconds then swinging.

I'm not. It wasn't the best in the world though. Lets bring up ninja gaiden ( current gen) as much as I LOVE those games, the AI is horse crap. They just attack consecutively and mindlessly. An enemy attacking more doesn't necessarily mean better AI. Those games were cheap. Do not deny it. If you pull the " oh you just suck" card, you're going on my ignore list because I'm pretty decent at them.

Oh you just suck. Na man im kidding i agree whit you. But saying DMC 4 enemies has good Ai ???. I just see it like this. The enemy Ai use a standard magnetic following system and when it gets close enough it uses randomly one of it`s 3-4 attacks. To me that`s not good Ai

Those were the scare crows only. The Alto and Bianco angelos worked as a squad to take you down. Constantly trying to surround you. Together they were pretty dangerous. Most enemies had both long and short ranged attack and would try to get behind you before attacking. Trust me, there will most likely never be an action game with both fair and great AI this generation.

Well im not saying you are wrong. I just newer got the felling that the Ai was the beast it could be. Fore me the Ai was better in DMC 1.

It wasn't really better. The enemies were just stronger and you fought you in narrow hallways..
