TC what are you talking about?

Did you take that 5 sec about the lunch date?

Woah, wait a sec, is Dragonborn DLC out for PC now?

No, it's available February 5th which makes its sudden appearance on Steam even more baffling - was it just uploaded for pre-order today?

Weak, pre-ordering DLC? For serious?

Just checked the Skyrim boards. For serious.

A game being #1 on it's launch day. Wow that's so unusual. Seriously TC don't you have anything better to do? <_<

The funny thing about the PC version is I have this strange feeling it's going to outsell it's console siblings in the long run for 2 major reasons. It's the superior version of the game and then there's the prospect of modding the game to hell and back (hurrrrr I made pun). I'll be really interested to see what the mod community comes up with because if there was any game in dire need of a fan patch of some kind this would be it.

Factor pirating in there and your number will go back down some. ;)

Yes. Skyrim being on top should be taken with a grain of salt as it's more popular than Call of Duty and Counter Strike on the PC because the modding community is so strong and the DLC was delayed a loooooooong time because of Xbox timed exclusive deal.

Also some facts about Skyrim, it's been the fastest selling game on Steam to date, according to Valve, and the game has sold 10 million copies as of this day. This game has sold more than practically the whole DMC series combined.

^That's a pre-order, it says Feb 5 under it

Wait just noticed it, a pre-order of a DLC from a 6 month old game is outselling DmC 1 day after its lunch date

It's not 6 months old. It's 1 year and 2 months old and the fastest selling game of all time on Steam and one of the biggest franchises of the game industry to date.

I don't know why but I thought it showed DmC was 75% off

I'm an anti but using Skyrim's success against DmC is silly.

Different genres bro.

Apples and Oranges and all that.

$I don't care what game it is, its still a DLC beating a full price game, a full priced game vs a 20$ dlc , and the DLC is still selling better.

So just like people pointed out, DmC is only on the top list because no big AAA title is released this month

It would be different if the DLC were released, I think. A lower price-point DLC for a game that millions own outselling a new IP priced at 50 bucks in a genre that isn't very popular on PC makes sense.

It's just that it's pre-order and hasn't been out for as long, on DmC's opening day.

HAH! I called it!
I.
Effing.
Called.
IT!

A DLC outsells this "number one".

Granted, a DLC I am purchasing right now because it's actually an expansion and not just some bloody horse armor skin. But... good grief.

Also, DmC on steam if just 39,99. This is a little over half of the console version.
I'll bet that the low price is a factor as well.
