Vanquish, Bayonetta, Okami, all sold poorly. I guess now low sales = bad game that cant be enjoyed?

Bayonetta didn't sell poorly. It sold enough to make a bit of money, but not enough to rush a sequel. Okami didn't sell poorly either. It sold slowly and Capcom decided to shut down Clover Studio only to regret it later after the game finally sold well a year later.

Eventually a sequel was made. And world wide as of 2013 Okami has sold 1.2 million copies (including the HD rerelease), with 600,000+ copies selling on the Wii and 600,000+ on the PS2/3.

Bayonetta sales.

They didn't even have the resources to animate all the cutscenes, I really don't think it made any money, all things considered.

What are you on about?

He's on denial. just another DmC fan trying to justify the low sales for this mediocre reboot.

Wasn't it closer to 100,000 in Japan?

That's what Famitsu said anyway.

Yeah, I know 100,000 is a close figure in Japan but not 300,000.

???

I was talking about Bayonetta. The rumor was that the money they had for Bayonetta production wasn't going to last, or that they were behind schedule, and so they had to stop animating the cutscenes(or just chose the most important ones), which is why so many of the cutscenes are the movie reel style. At least, this is what I heard back about a month after Bayonetta was released.

So if they couldn't animate all the cutscenes due to money constraints, then chances are their sales weren't enough to make money.

300k, 100k, or 1 sale. Im still enjoying this game, even though i might be in the minority, much like Bayonetta.
