I don't understand why NT didn't just create another new character.

If Capcom wanted to shake stuff up so bad. Name Dante not Dante, name Vergil not Vergil, and keep Mundus, and you know what? NT has themselves the best game they have made but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a fantastic game. But you know what, they don't piss off the fans, they just go totally different. BUT YOU KNOW WHY THEY DIDN'T DO THAT? BECAUSE THEY FIGURED HEY IF WE GO THROUGH WITH THIS GENIUS IDEA WE WILL LOSE SO MANY SALES BECAUSE NOBODY WILL BE INTERESTED IN ANOTHER PROTAGONIST AND THEREFORE WE CANNOT BLAME THE FANS USING THIS LOGIC LOLZ.

I am so DAMN pissed at Capcom yet I shell out money like an idiot anyway.

Ninja Theory was hired to create this game as Capcom wanted. I am sure they were given some freedom but final decisions belonged to Capcom.
