Isn't it about time Sparda got his own game? Or maybe they'll find a way to release him from his prison and he can go whoop some ass.

As far as I know the only thing special about DmC Sparda is that he sexed an Angel.

He isn't the awesome Legendary Dark Knight of old.

Wouldn't make sense because in the context of this game, Sparda only mattered because of his sperm - rather than recognition as a powerful but benevolent demon.

Fleshing out Sparda destroys the most important part of him, his image as a legendary warrior. Hell, this game already did that, turning him into a whipping boy who got captured and can't even break free from being tortured. He's not even a legend in this canon, just some demon.
