1. Street Fighter x Tekken
2. Asura's Wrath
3. Resident Evil 6
4. DmC
5. Lost Planet 3 - if DmC didn't prove anything, I doubt this game is going to do anything at all. I might as well cancel LP3 if I were Capcom before is too late.

The bad sales are a good thing for antis though, because now that Capcom knows they aren't making any money off of this series, they are most likely going to make a DMC5 next, because there's no way they're going to shelf one of their top-selling franchises.
Worst case scenario, Capcom will end up going under because of their games no longer selling, due to making games they know their fans don't want. It would be the definition of bitter irony if one of the most loved companies in the 90's that became one of the biggest gaming companies, then became one of the greediest and stopped making money indirectly because all they were after was a profit.

DethaPosted 1/28/2013 10:43:53 PM (edited) | I think Capcom actually said it didn't spend as much as one would think marketing DmC. I forget where I read that though.
The only people seemingly happy with Capcom are the fighting game fans. They regularly talk with them, and SFxT is getting a huge overhaul free update at the fan's request. Marvel wasn't what everyone expected, but a sizable amount of the FGCommunity has grown to love it.
SF4 may be getting yet another update. I'm pretty excited about that. Probably my most played game this gen aside from Bioware's stuff.

Poetic justice, says I. Besides, in the event that that does occur, they'd likely have to sell off their IP's like THQ did, and then we'd still get our games, just from other devs. |
