There's no other reason for it to be one of the biggest flops in the past five years.

Capcom should of known better because they know gamers hate change and only like the same stuff. They also hate anything different.

If they made a DMC5 and not DmC then their sales would of tripled.

If there is a game that is proof that gamers these days hate anything new and change, DmC is the game.

I was saying change and different was bad for games but no one believed me. Now I have proof that change is bad.

Who else agrees with me?

Change isn't always better. This game is proof of that.

DMC3 was the most hailed game of the franchise.
It had most change.

Your argument is null and void. Good day.

No, and stop using the the term gamers as if it's some sort of hive-mind.

The sales of the game indicate that consumers don't take well to mediocrity. Change CAN be good, but change for the sake of change is not a compelling reason to buy something.

If the change is needed to fix previous issues, that's fine.

Be honest. Do you believe it needs a reboot?

No. This game alone is proof that change is bad.

If you want to maximize sales then you shouldn't change ANYTHING, just improve upon it.

Again, my DMC3 statement.

You guys remember the American Godzilla?

Remember how it completely missed the point and had an awful story and no one disagreed on it?

Change is not bad. Look at the changes between the first DMC and the third. They changed DRASTICALLY. DMC2 is widely regarded as a total failure while DMC3 is universally praised.
