I didn't have a problem with it. To each their own though.

Also, the only challenging part about Dark Souls is the first time through. Once you understand the game, it's rather simple.

Agreed.

And yeah, agreed with that too. First time though, that can be hell.

I dodge the blast, and apologize for collateral damage.

Not really, its just a grind. EIther you die a bunch and finally pass or just level/get an item and get pass.

I remember the red-dragon dropping one of the best early swords from just his tail lol.

I remember the Black Knight dropping his sword on my first encounter in the Burg, followed shortly by Havel's death. Easiest run of my life.

Been playing Dark Souls recently (for the first time). The only parts to give me trouble so far was blight town and the boss(es) in Anor Londo. (the big guy with a hammer and the dragon armor guy with a spear and electric powers.)

When coincidence is so convenient, I prefer to call it fate.

Oreo and Smores are fairly difficult, especially when you're trying to get Ornstein's armor and killing Smough first is just ridiculous.

Bed of Chaos is really really stupid too.

Get back to me when an entire country is devoted to playing GoW as a national sport and not SC2/LoL and other hardcore games

Then you can say casual games > hardcore games, cause right now South korea population > casual american gamers

How sad that you determine a game's quality by the amount of copies it has sold. You essentially admit that you can't form your own educated opinion on the game, but instead let sales dictate your opinion.

The Elderscrolls series has probably sold more then God of War and those games are more complicated then both of these game so whether a game is more casual or less casual doesn't really determine the sales of the game.
