One thing I loved in this over old DMC... AUTO TARGET SYSTEM

it was stupid to have 2 different move sets depending if ypu were targeting or nor an enemy.

Now it was done in the right way, with auto target and you get different effects accordingly to how long you press or hold a button.

Kudos for that to Ninja Theory for the fighting system it is really good.

You didn't have 2 different move sets. You just had to lock on to pull off some of the moves unless you were on Easy Auto.

You had different effects in the last game for pauses and holding down buttons for some attacks.

The only thing now is you have to hold down a button to access your whole move set. *gasp* exactly what you were complaining about!

It is VERY annoying to have to be holding a button to attack enemies with the scythe, but then have to hold another button in order to go for an axe combo... very annoying, stupid inclusion

You realize that now you have to do the exact same thing but to access your weapons, right? Except now it's 2 buttons you have to rotate holding to access weapons.

Your complaint is ignorant because your problem is still in this game, just with a different function.

Don't see how stances and the forced new stinger inputs are less annoying, especially if you're the sort who likes to use guns during their combos so you end up having to constantly let go of L2/R2, and wait a half second (Or it'll still somehow pick up your input as a Demon/Angel Pull) before you can unload or can even activate gun specials which have no conflicting inputs in demon/angel stances.

... What, you mean DMC2? No one likes DMC2. This exact scenario does not exist outside of DMC2 short of Nero's buster input.

Is infinitely easier to deal with the weapon / Devil / Angelic system as it is than dealing with the lock on / off crap.

The new system is very intuitive.

I am still in rage with Donte change, but I have to admit this game actually feels and moves way faster than DMC4 which was absolute garbage (DMC3 was the franchise at itīs best IMO I would love a remake with this combat system)
