Why is Poison so self-conscious about her age?

Let's see, he taunts a ton of enemies in combat, he taunted Lilith, Barbas and Poison in the cutscenes, and taunting is part of the story when he finally confronts Mundus. It certainly fits the neo-teen narrative.

To be fair while someone may look like a woman they might be underage. Always better to ask these days to avoid.... issues.

So Mundus' spawn being killed means nothing because it's a demon, but Poison getting mad matters because she's female?

The demons are just as temperamental and realistic as any of the other demons in the series. You insult them, and of course they're going to get angry.

But suddenly we can't take in account Mundus' baby. Applying DMC/DmC logic, that was wrong anyway.

The reason this insult doesn't work is because she brings up the idea that Dante can't kill her BECAUSE she's so old. But Dante taunts her by saying she's...even older? So she would be more unkillable by that logic.
