DMC2 was possibly one of the worst hack 'n' slash games I've ever played. A tedious and boring snore-fest all the way through, forgettable plot, laughably bad characters with almost no development, horrific voice acting, and a completely non-existent difficulty even on DMD, and a combat system that sucked with hilariously over-powered guns. I honestly don't know how we managed to get DMC2 after getting DMC1. DMC2 is everything DmC gets criticised for, only it's about ten times worse.
1/10, and they only get the 1 because Dante's clothes were pretty cool and Lucia DT looked nifty.
It sucked hard at the time, it sucks hard now. --- | Xbox 360: Atrabilious/ClassiestFiddle/Phantom Ostrava | PS3: Jazzy_Bones | Rent my Dragon's Dogma pawns on my Xbox GT's.
I'm currently on the process of trying to plat DMC2 on the HD Collection.
I don't like DmC, but DMC2 is one of the most obnoxious, annoying, hair-pulling and unfun experiences I've had. And for all my dislike of DmC, from what I've seen, heard and tried out, it's nowhere as unfun on a gameplay level.
So, I'll have to deny. Because unfortunately, the second installment sucks.
Storywise is a little subjective, but unfair, because DMC2 barely HAS a plot and even less character to it. For all its cussing and edginess, at least DmC had both. --- ~On How To Close Topics - In Memory of callingjaguar~ callingjaguar: tell me how to take it off or i will c*m on you
I prefered Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne's DMC2 Dante. Even the Stinger was good again. --- ~On How To Close Topics - In Memory of callingjaguar~ callingjaguar: tell me how to take it off or i will c*m on you
