...it also had the most precise, perfectly-crafted combat I've ever seen outside of a fighting game, so by the time I got through the missions, I just wanted to explore the depth of that combat without having to worry about the ****ing Gyro Blades. So I spent over 500 hours in the Bloody Palace. Mission accomplished.
I agree with this pretty strongly. A lot of my DMC4 enjoyment came from the Bloody Palace.
But DmC is different, the combat is terrible with it's color coded enemies limiting you.
Besides, the Shakespearean story is the appeal for DmC right?
