It was fun; hence it brought that to the table :D

You're implying that the other games weren't fun though :/

This much is true; I didn't mean to imply that.

A bug is a bug; at least the DmC ones have the potential to be patched.
And who knows hopefully they just might be.

As far as your hyperbolic statement about an immobilized frozen enemy being more threatening than a DmC boss; come on Kame ;p I like to think we're more civilized that.

Even though he was frozen, he still did some massive damage there. DmC bosses are so simple to dodge, they might as well be frozen always.

So yeah, a glitched DMC3 boss is still tougher than a DmC boss that's working correctly.

And no, "a bug is a bug" doesn't excuse a bug (that was known for a while) being in the final release. Hell, at this point they've been known for what, like 2 months now? They still aren't fixed.

Err he did said damage before he bugged out.
Though if you want to show me your no damage runs of the bosses ;p by all means; it'll lend credence to what is otherwise just conjecture.

And yes a bug is a bug.
And no a fix isn't at the snap of a finger; to my understanding putting out a patch actually costs a considerable amount. That being said; the game isn't even a month old yet. There's still a decent chance of a patch incoming; hell it might come packaged with any updates pertaining to the incoming DLC.

Dude, the bug was known before the game even came out. It was in the demo. People complained about it, posted videos of it hell they posted the vids directly to Tameem's twitter!

When a demo has bugs it's one thing. When the full game still has those bugs? That's messed up. There should have been a fix for them like day 1. There is no excuse.

And so far, the only patching was for the PC version, and NT aren't even handling that. So the only version that gets fixed is the one NT isn't in charge of...

I'd be worried.

^ Like I said putting out patches on Xbox Live and PSN is pricey; they might be with the DLC updates as most games require those anyways.
Though we won't know until the patch notes.

As for said bugs being in the demo; well as we don't know the cause of said bug unless you have the PC ver and are well learned in the process of programming; it might not be as benign as you would think. The fix could be simple and NT is being lazy; or it could actually be a rather complex deal that fixing haphazardly would hurt more than it would fix.

The way you make it sound having any bugs in the full game is unacceptable.
I showed you DMC4 and DMC3 had some of their own. And they get a free pass why?
DMC3 in particular has less of an excuse as as you stated games back then couldn't simply be patched.

Not that it has any real bearing on the issue, but come on; you know had there been a day one patch all the antis would have laughed and said "lolz needs a day one patch OMGZ" (Well a more mundane version of that ideally)

I'm not saying bugs in the full game is unacceptable, but bugs from the demo being in the full game? That is. It was a bug that was known since the demo released weeks ago. NT should have been working to fix those problems. I highly doubt it takes almost a full month to fix a few bugs (unless you're Bethesda).

DMC3 had a few glitches, but not nearly as many. Games back hen usually had much better quality when released. Since there were no do overs thanks to patching, dev's had to make sure the game was as glitch free as possible. Nowadays, games get put out completely bug ridden with some being almost unplayable with that mentality of "we can fix it later".

And if the PC version could be patched within a few days of release, why has it been almost two months and the glitches haven't been fixed for consoles? Clearly it was easy enough to fix within days (it wasn't even NT who handled the port. The one's who fixed the game weren't even the ones that created it).

Shadow, there are a lot of things I can agree on with you. Truth be told, you're probably like my favorite pro. But glitches from a demo that came out almost a month before making into the full game? There is no excuse especially when they get fixed on a console where the game released later.

^ Like I said; to get a patch through on PSN and XBL is expensive.

Hence why they may not have done so yet (It's been less than a month) and they may simply be including it with the DLC updates.

That's my best guess.

As for why it wasn't fixed from the demo *shrugs*
Like I said; the nature of the bug would be what determines whether it be laziness/incompetence, or a legitimately tough nut to crack.

(Such as the PS3's ram limitations; though I'm sure that's not the cause. Just an example)

"What does this game bring to the table."

Better scores than the HD Collection of the original and the Fourth sequel in the original series. In other words, more fun

Because they are much less common.
