Honestly, dated controls and godawful camera angles really impact the choices for me. If DMC3's combat wasn't simply astounding, it would be lower because of the crappy jumping mechanics and annoying camera, much like DMC1. I've always had beef with the controls and camera of the DMC series, so I'm glad to see they've practically disappeared with the latest installment.

I'm completely with alexx 4 is just so bleh. Nero is tedious to play as and theres way too many cutscenes.
