New Dante was in DmC and that game flopped.
New Dante was in Playstation AllStar Battle Royale and guess what that game also flopped.

PSA:BR failed not because of Dante but because nobody wanted it and it failed to make people want it.

Yeah and this game failed because nobody wanted a new Devil may cry game?
Hahaha no, it failed because we got this crappy dante and Psasbr also got cursed by getting him.

Allstars has nothing to do with DmC (aside from dante), it's just plain old boring, nothing matters other than supers. At least in smash bros. attacks matter.

So you're telling me this game would have been a hit if the combat system and story was better?
Nope people still wouldn't have bought it because it's the new dante.

What I hate most about PSAS;BR is that the title is a flat out lie. Outside of like 2 characters, none of the characters should be considered all stars. Not to mention they didn't even put in some of the most iconic PS characters... you know, the real all stars.
