If Sega were the ones publishing the game again, then I'd agree. In fact, if any 3rd party developer were in charge of publishing this game, I'd agree since those companies have every reason in the world to develop a port. But since Nintendo's the one publishing the game, I see very little reason for them to help their competition out.
