In the end, it is not about the fanbase deserving a game they want, it is capcom's product and it flopped; you don't have to buy something you don't like even if it was a result of a minor detail such as the hair. I agree completely with not buying something you don't like. But you know that some troll antis took it way too far and overall made the whole group look bad. That is what made news and that is what most people will remember. Not a good way for the series to go out in my opinion. |

Simply people ignored them and highlighted the worst of the fanbase that barley played the previous games.They framed the fanbase' as some people who are afraid from change and being nostalgic, while it was obvious that the game's art, style and gameplay is a step back from DMC , and low in quality in terms of the industries' standards. |
| All people did was not buy a game. Nobody is obligated to support something they don't want to support, especially a $60 game. Why is that so big of an issue? And what about the casual market Capcom was going for? They were the ones that Capcom tried to go for. They weren't that interested either. |

I can't say I didn't expect this classy game to attract the same classy band of fanatics. Yes they did laugh, and that is because the game was doomed from the start. We didn't need to start our little Anti crusade. T'was a waste of time. I also agree on the "true DMC" part. With what NT has done, it is best to lay the series at rest. --- *Wubeth Intensifies* |
