Nero got new moves that he could only do in devil trigger, make his devil trigger the most useful for getting style points.

To be honest, Nero had like twice as many moves as Dante had with Rebellion on Swordmaster.

Nero was only limited by development time, just like the story mode. What moves he did have, were excellent.

I dunno, Nero felt like a complete character in-game, not limited in any way. Tons of moves, most of which also had an EX version, a variable main combo, mini-DTE with exclusive DT stuff, "F*** YOU" and "VROOOOM" buttons - that's a lot, really.

The only thing that certainly was limited by the development time is Dante's story.

Yeah, I remember doing some stylish combos with Nero =\

I liked him, especially when I gets the stylin on Frost xD

Exceed Streak is my favorite CRAAAYYYYZZZEEE move for Nero.

Showdown is badass too.

He was a good character with a lot of options, definitely. Doesn't mean I don't wish he couldn't have gotten a few different weapons just for the sake of variety. I mean, the Red Queen and Blue Rose absolutely do the job of killing and killing stylishly, but more options never hurt. I suppose they wanted only Dante to be able to get different weapons for some reason.
