Yes, I have seen store employees talk people out of buying other games before.

Personally, I think they are bad employees but good people.

Placing concern for customers above company profits.

A gamestop manager told me Two Worlds 2 was the worst game he played that year. Asked the same guy bout DmC he just said it was alright. He advised that I pick up HD collevtion first.

Two Worlds 2 isn't that bad. Its the first game that is truly terrible.

While he didn't talk me out of it (not like I needed it), when he asked me if I wanted to preorder stuff a little while before it came out, he mentioned DmC. I laughed. He just agreed with me and said "I have to ask, I understand why though."

Then he asked if I ever played the HD collection and we shot the **** for a while. It was a good day (plus I got to preorder MGR... so yay :D)
