Honestly never knew why they never went there for the original series. I'd always thought it'd be a great idea for the man to have his own game one day.

Nah, just make it a prequel centered around Vergil's rise to being what he was in DMC3 and his subsequent downfall into Nelo Angelo and Capcom pretty much have a pure fanservice game that prints money.

Not even gonna lie... I would not be strong enough to resist the call of the cash-grab. I would buy the hell out of this.
