DmC: Devil May Cry

I honestly don't get it. None of the performances in this game remotely stand out. The best voice actor is probably Bob Barbas and even he is decent at best. Everyone else is either terrible because of poor dialogue or because their delivery is so forced you can not take them seriously.

Honestly, I don't get why people think the voice acting in this game is good either.

Dante's new voice actor makes me appreciate the depth Keanu Reeves brings to his rolls. I mean seriously, Dante's VA sounds so disinterested in his part at times it's laughable. And then there's that really bad yell he does when he's falling after Mundus attacks him.

I think the dialogue holds the acting back. They did a good job for what they had. Only one I thought was bad was Vergil. He just sounds so monotone. At least Dante's teenage slur sounds authentic.

The battle voices lacked any power the older games had. Listening to Donte's YOOOOOH!! after listening to Dante's EEEEEEEEYAAAGH!! (stinger) can easily show the difference.
