Eh. Honestly Nephilim and Demon Hunter are largely the same. Enemies are tuned to hit slightly harder and have marginally more health on Nephilim, but aggression as well as the enemy spawns and the attacks they have are consistent between the two. If you're looking for a challenge, you need to look to Son of Sparda which brings in more high-tier enemies much sooner into the early game, but Son of Sparda also ends up exacerbating the game's design flaws and becomes something of a chore less than a third of the way through.

how much tougher is it than devil hunter?
Never played a dmc game before.
same as any other difficulty. 7 hours with cutscenes, 4 without. Nephilim is very, very easy. Difficulty gets a little boost up from SoS, but I heard of people that marched through DMD in 4 hours.

Is nephilim a decent challenge?
Really depends on how familiar you are with the HnS genre. If you are decent in HnS, this game should be a cakewalk even on the hardest difficulty.

Is a cakewalk, just use demon evade and air juggles. Do yourself a service and donīt play this game. --- Having a dream is essential to live.

Nephilim is somewhere between Easy and Normal of the old games. It is no challenge at all.
