Nobody has ever described dubstep in a simple and intuitive way to me.
Dubstep is a blend of music relating the the genres of Brit Garage, Jungle, Hip-hop, and various other electronic elements. The key component to dubstep is the wobble synth that createds an oscillated bass sound. However this is the least important part, as you have multiple ways to use it and implement it, especially in a halfstep tempo.
