there's one thing people rarely complain about

game is in no way over the top. At least, i don't feel that way all the time, especially on the last part of the game.

Because this game has far more glaring issues than simply not being over the top enough. So it's a pretty moot point.

I dunno, I thought the Vergilmobile was a bit over the top, what with its V showing on the dashboard monitor and all.

I understand this game has a lot of issues. I guess my problem is why is it that your average gamer who likes the game doesn't seem to see these issues. They even claim they are fans of the series, but they still think it's good. I mean, game not so over the top seems like something important to discuss about.

I agree with you. I've complained about this issue before. I really miss the awesome-ass cutscenes in past DMC games. This game was SOOOO lazy in comparison.

Yes I think we`ve got a problem. So much for the afterglow.

it really is, they really had to go out of their way to make it so boring

I brought this up because I've been spoiling myself on MGR and that game has a lot of it. I really don't see how anybody would get bored with that kind of adrenaline, but DmC is so....diluted.

Every DMC has issues but they vary depending on the person.

I hated the camera in the older games. In DMC 1, I thought that some of the enemies had way too much health but it was still fun. DMC 2, Excelled in every thing but gameplay. DMC 3, Excelled in gameplay but everything else was crap (except Vergil) Too many stupid enemies (statues were just lame). DMC 4, Would have been awesome as a solo Nero game, stupid dice padding game and lazy level design. DmC, I hate the lack of a true lock on mechanic and I wish it was more difficult. Also, as far as glitches I haven't really run into them on the new DmC.

but that doesn't explain why DmC is not over the top.
