A dedicated grappler direct fighting style with the devil bringer. Lots of slamming, tossing, and beating enemies to bits.

the onlything they should give Nero is weapon switching on the Dpad

Honestly speaking, does he need styles? Shouldn't that strictly be Dante's thing?

Can't he just be giving motions for his Devil Bringer to do different kinds of unlockable grappling moves? The most he needs is a secondary weapon switch button. Going out on a limb to say perhaps the ability to exchange his Devil Bringer function for a hidden list of Heavy Attacks.

They should bind "KYRIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" scream to all of the D-Pad buttons. It would give him a 5 second damage boost just like Demon Evade.

Yeah, I'd definitely like to see Devil Bringer able to do more stuff. It was an interesting mechanic on its own - good for crowd control and you can't just Buster everything since you can't cancel out of it - but adding more stuff that it could do would be awesome.

Strange and ironic that it serves its purpose in the story, but its a shame that is was overshadowed by the fact the DMC4 was rushed and Nero is not dante (dem fanboys).

They could've just given the Devil Bringer to Dante as a new style and skip Nero altogether. No backtracking too.

Four styles for Nero, plus Yamato.

Street Fighter: No, not the video game. An actual style of fighting that has no real rhyme or reason, yet is hard for the enemy to read because it's unorthodox.

Marksmen: A style that is based off of archers. Archers can only use one arrow at a time. Nero only uses one gun at a time. One of these moves would include using Blue Rose ammo to ricochet off of the enemies and cause a domino effect.

Grappler: Not only can Nero's arm be used to attack enemies, it can now be used to give a special charge to both the Red Queen and the Blue Rose. IE: Red Queen and Blue Rose's power will increase tenfold, and their length of attack distance will span farther as well.

Stealth Rage: Example of one move. IE: Nero will create a wall of fire using the Red Queen and hide behind that flame barrier for a short time. Nero will then leap from the wall of fire and attack the enemy. When timed perfectly, the attack will finish the enemy in one blow and cause massive damage during boss fights. This would be slightly similar to Dante's Royal Guard.

Newer isn't always better.
And I shall keep Dante's Force Edge polished and sharp till he comes back.

The key word in the topic title is if.
I'm just gonna assume he gets 4 styles like Dante and unlocks a 5th one, which would be Dark Slayer.

Dark Slayer: Obvious choice is obvious, he uses Yamato himself. Level 1 would make Yamato function as a regular Devil Arm. Level 2 gives you Air Trick, and Level 3 gives you Judgement Cut and some other skills.

Devil Bringer: He does all the actions with the devil bringer that he did in DMC4. Level 1 is normal grappling, level 2 is Snatch, and Level 3 levels up the throws and instead of an arm, you see Nero's DT from DMC4 appear while grappling, with added damage.

Speedster: Level 1 lets you run quicker when you hold R1+O. On Level 2, when you press O you do a roll or a backflip, or run along walls and such, like in DMC2., and Level 3 lets you actually move at really fast speeds when you hold O, which after 5 seconds would start to cost DT.

Bare-Handed: Level 1, Nero fights with bare-handed combos, using kicks and left handed punches. Level 2, Nero uses more complex combos with more moves. Level 3, Nero uses his Devil Bringer arm as well, and the damage is increased.

Manifester: Nero brings out the guy that was behind him in DMC4 when he DTed (Because by the next Nero game, he should have his own DT). Level 2 is where he can use Summoned Swords, and Level 3 is where he can use Maximum Bet.

If not these, they could always just give him his own version of Dante's styles.
