Oh man, I knew this game was going to fail and not sell 1 million any time soon after release.

But I wasn't expecting it to fail THIS hard. This is beyond hilarious. It brings me so much joy, perhaps it was a good thing this game was made after all. Capcom can't even PRETEND that this was a good idea and that the game did well anymore. I wonder what they'll come up with to make amends with us DMC fans.

i always thought the DMC franchise to be the plan B for Capcom, in turn of recent events luks like they have to go plan B.


Either that or lose ANOTHER franhcise.

Simple. They will just blame everyone else. Or the market being saturated by HnS games.

They will blame anyone but themselves in typical Capcom style. What a bunch of douches.

More than 1 million for sure, apparently leaning on 1.5 millions.

As you guys know I am an anti but even I didn't expect such low numbers. Even Capcom's revised number is lower than what i predicted.


It's kind of funny and sad at the same time that when all it's said and done DmC will probably sell only slightly more than Enslaved did (~500k copies in three months).

Best part is that Ninja Theory most likely expected this to be their best selling game. I mean the IP was already established, so they had to do almost nothing for it to sell in their eyes.
Then what makes it even better is that not only did they not expect the backlash to be as grand as it was, but they probably expected it to die down eventually. It's sweet that they were so wrong in every aspect of their thinking.
