They were sure that they had won the people over and the opponents of the reboot were just a small minority. I wonder how they are feeling now after the game's release and abysmal sales? NPD figures are here so there are no more doubts and excuses left. All that propaganda, the suspiciously universal high scores despite several obvious flaws and the ensuing media silence and the free DLC stunt (Bloody Palace) did not get them any sales in the end. I wonder where are the CAPCOM execs, Tameem and the media who were praising this game like the best thing ever. I would love to hear their feelings now. LOL!

I like how Tameem said on his twitter "oh you like bloody palace well here it is for free" Well thank you for giving us a feature for free that has been in the past 3 games 2 of which were on release and the other a re release.

I mean was he actually going to charge people for this feature?

Capcom definitely was. Tameem shouldn't act so high and mighty.

This made me search the NPD numbers and I ended up in a thread on giantbomb.

"This is just a major bummer. Fanboys and bad marketing killed a fantastic looking game.

I'll pick up a copy next paycheck."

"I really think the only thing that can explain it is the Ninja Theory curse.

They make good to great games that don't appeal to enough people."

There's more epic stuff posted there, so if you guys want a great laugh:

Brilliant! I wonder how long the articles telling us how it's all our fault for not buying mediocre games.

I was wondering why this game has 1M likes in FB but the sales are just half of it lol
Games, Manga, Anime, Gunpla, Figures ONLY!
I now conclude that, Ever17's story is eminently the BEST story of all I've seen/read in my "entire life".

Forced page merge happened. DmC's page had low likes so they combined them all together to give it the appearance that is was liked. It still didn't hit one million likes until after the game came out. (I know because my post were deleted that stated such)

The numbers in that thread are still higher than the actual numbers. The NPD figures turned out to be lower than VGChartz figures so VGCharts had to lower there numbers to reflect that. Currently 4 week sales figures are approximately ONLY 610,000. THAT BOMB!
