He was already one of the most westernized japanese characters ever, all thanks to Reuben Langdon. I think this man is more responsible for creating DMC3 Dante, the best incarnation, than Itsuno. He should be given more credit.
He appealed to Western audiences that liked Eastern designs yes. Lol, how about not thinking fans are idiots and need the same homogenized character in every game? Perhaps emphasizing the character's strong points, and improving writing quality / game quality would have helped popularity in the WEST, the EAST, THE EAST, THE WEST, VS THE EAST.....if only use WESTIES could like those things that EASTIES like! Then we wouldn't need to redesign characters for crazy ol' westies. |

I am not 100% sure what you actually said here, but I think I agree. Same here man, all the time. I like the people that are a little crazy, I feel like I get more essence from them, more truth. |

That looks really nice. While I'm not 100% fond of the idea of E&I being revolvers (which imo don't really seem Dante's style...), I have to give you props. That actually looks on par with an art piece that I could create, so I'll just absorb the compliments vicariously. But, it is neat. <I am a fan of simple artwork with flair> |
