DmC: Devil May Cry

Yeah, I'm getting pretty antsy; Vergil looks really fun to play as. It's funny, seeing the teaser for Vergil's Downfall was the first and only thing that made me genuinely excited for this game. It looked like a DMC game and I was questioning if NT actually made that part. Then we take a look at the credits to find out that NT actually DIDN'T develop the gameplay for it, Capcom did. Funny stuff.

You answered your own question about the point of the delay; it's to compete with God of War. They made it so Bloody Palace came out same week MGR:R did so now they're doing the same for the other H&S contender. UK already playing seems to have been an accident

But I figure they should just give all the fans who got the preorder bonus their codes while having the rest who have to buy it wait until the actual release date. It makes sense. If they really intend to compete with GoW then there's no benefit to making the ones waiting for their code wait. They're already getting it for free so it doesn't matter if they download it or not.

I remember a time when I actually got excited about games. The last game I ever got truly excited about before it was even a playable demo was Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening. I used to rewatch the trailer every day, repeatedly. And then when there was trial version footage, I did the same with it, mimicking Dante's moves in my chair, in my bedroom, around the house, even at school...

Man, all the way back in the year 2003, I think. Things sure have changed over... ten... years.

indeed, now I always take notice of when I'm actually excited for a game to come out because it's become such a rare feeling.
